We are often used to thinking that craftsmanship and innovation are two distant, almost opposite worlds. On the one hand lives the hand, experience and knowledge built over time; on the other, technology, precision and speed move. During the Cernobbio 2026 fair, we wanted to demonstrate that something completely new can emerge from this apparent distance.

Our new collection starts with a simple intention: not to choose between these two languages, but to make them dialogue harmoniously. In this process, which has always defined our corporate Know How, technology does not replace man, but accompanies the hand of the tailor and the weaver, making it more reliable and precise. 

The result of this combination is a range of fabrics for designer furniture that expresses a perfect balance between thought and form, between design and truth. This is where our strength lies and the difference that moves our every production.

Eastern essentiality as a point of balance

The deep inspiration of this collection is rooted in Japanese philosophy, a thought that makes subtraction its highest value. This is a natural evolution of our creative journey, as anticipated on the occasion of the Japan Wunderbox project. For the fair, we imagined and set up an exhibition space designed to invite visitors to slow down their gaze, focusing solely on what is essential.

Textures, colors, and volumes dialogue with each other with a calibrated geometric rigor, translating Eastern purity into concrete textile research. The meeting point of this narrative is authentic simplicity. We’re talking about a visual cleansing that isn’t immediately revealed to the eye, but is felt in everyday use and will guide the development of our upcoming Capsule collections.

This minimal and essential aesthetic perfectly meets the needs of modern interior design projects. Architects and designers find in these plots a subtle elegance, capable of enhancing the environments without ever overpowering them.

The value of detail in material research

Every single article presented at Cernobbio 2026 is the result of constant research and development activity. The perceived quality is hidden in the details and in the choice of raw materials capable of offering a real sensory experience.

Among this year’s new features, we’ve introduced some natural fabrics that integrate a studied and expert percentage of bamboo fiber. This technical innovation is part of our Sustainability and Environmental Responsibility journey, and has been thoroughly studied to combine performance and stability with a completely new feel. A detail invisible to the eyes, but capable of making a difference to the touch.
